HiL is a group of four boys, united by the uncontrollable desire of doing genuine rock music, who came to life at the beginnings of 2009.
Rather than a birth it's better to talk about a natural metamorphosis.
In fact the HiL work grows out of a previous Incubus cover project, which naturally brought Niccolò (voice), Lorenzo (guitar), Carlo (bass) and Marco (drums), to quickly give birth to a series of songs, completely brand new and just in part inspired by their worship idols.
The HiL embrace a wide variety of different music styles, ranging over by the energy of the alternative rock, through funk and jazz with a little pinch of grunge sorrow. As in the best music works, the lyrics deal with the main human themes: the conflict between good and evil, man and religion, the relationship of mankind with the Earth and the many-sided theme of love.
So, guys, whether you like it or not, from January 2010, this mirror of our time will enter into your houses, into your computers, to end up into your young minds… whether you like it or not keep your thoughts open…
